Matej Mičušík received his PhD at Polymer Institute of Slovak Academy of Sciences in 2007. He is now senior research scientist specialised on polymer composites based on various modified fillers/nanofillers for advanced applications, particularly on the characterisation of modified surfaces and interfaces by XPS. His focus includes the development of materials for solar cells, batteries, EMI shielding, etc. and recently also for the development of biodegradable composite materials. He has published more than 200 scientific articles in CC journals, and is co-author of two books chapters, which have now more than 3700 WOS citations (h-index 32
