Dr. Pınar Siyah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at Bahçeşehir University, Faculty of Pharmacy. She holds a B.Sc. in Genetics and Bioinformatics from Bahçeşehir University and an integrated Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Yeditepe University. She conducted her postdoctoral research at Bahçeşehir University, Faculty of Medicine. Her primary research focus is on computer-aided drug design (CADD) for the identification and optimization of novel small-molecule inhibitors, particularly targeting cancer and other complex diseases. Her expertise includes molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, ADMET and QSAR modeling, ligand-based screening, and structure-based pharmacophore development. Dr. Siyah is actively involved in several TÜBİTAK-funded and institutionally supported research projects, where she serves as both principal investigator and researcher. These multidisciplinary projects span cancer pharmacology, protein-ligand interactions, virtual screening, and biomolecular target identification. She is also a co-inventor on national patents in targeted cancer therapeutics and has authored numerous publications in internationally peer-reviewed journals. Beyond her research, she teaches undergraduate courses in biochemistry, molecular biology, and supervises M.Sc. and PhD theses. She participates in multiple COST Action networks and international collaborations focusing on oncology, biomaterials, and drug discovery.
